I am so excited to see all the new holiday makeup in stores and online but this new Holiday Edition Prisme Libre Highlighter by Givenchy caught my eye. I already use the Givenchy Teint Couture Highlighter from earlier this year and I love it so much that I wanted to try the Prisme Libre one as well especially because it has two shades instead of one. From my previous posts you know how much I love Prisme Libre loose powders and I haven't found any finishing powders to match the effect Prisme Libre powders have on my skin. Finally we are soaking in the much need summer sun which also means its time to protect our skin from environmental stressors and incorporate beauty products that work well during this hot, dry and rainy season. GIVENCHY Gloss Interdit Vinyl in 01 Rose Révélateur and 16 Noir Révélateur - Review and Swatches

The all new Gloss Interdit is extremely shiny, deliciously fragrant and long wearing! Probably the only time I used the word "long wearing" for a lip gloss because I was shocked that I had absolutely no need to touch up for 5 hours! The two shades I am sharing today can be used as a topper or on its own. I like to use it as a topper on lipstick and that is how I get the most longevity out of these. They intensify the lip color and makes it luminous and shiny, especially with the shade 16 - Noir Revelateur, the results are stunning!! Both shades are described as made-to-measure color booster that enhances lip color by reacting with skin's pH so everyone gets a different result.

To celebrate the Chinese New Year Givenchy came up with this gorgeous limited edition collection which features their best selling shades dressed up in a beautiful red and gold packaging. I absolutely love this collection because these are my favorite products from Givenchy and they look stunning in this packaging. It features Prism Libre and Le Rouge in 305. I am a huge fan of Givenchy lipsticks and I can't wait to share it with you.

GIVENCHY Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in ROSE NOCTURNE 06 Review and Swatches

I would purchase this lipstick over and over again. Its one of the best satin formulas on the market and I am a huge fan of Givenchy's Rouge Interdit Satin lipsticks for a while (check out my review here and here), so I was dying to get my hands on this new launch. Givenchy describes Rouge Interdit Satin lipstick as 'more than a lipstick: it's a fashion accessory with a designer signature. The black and silver tube is an objet d'art adorned with a ribbon at one end that unlocks this beautiful piece.'  This beautiful lipstick deserved that kind of praise.
The exceptional quality, smooth texture, that precious packaging and the beautiful shade range makes it so hard to resist a product like this and honestly, from now onwards, I am only buying Givenchy lipsticks!

GIVENCHY Noir Interdit Mascara Review and Swatches

The epitome of luxury beauty! Givenchy slays with its packaging every, single time. This beautifully presented mascara is a delight to see on the vanity and on my lashes. It lifts and lengthens the lashes and its perfumed! Love the 90 degrees bendable brush, which has been a pro secret for long. I have bent the wand in the past and have loved the precise application so I am very excited to see this feature available in this truly luxurious and high quality mascara.

Favorite Lips ft Burberry, Chanel and Givenchy with Swatches

Yes! They are pink!

I can't fall in love with any other lip color and literally, I have so many shades of pink lipsticks, its hard to pick up favorites but still shortlisted them down to these two and a gloss that is so pigmented - its liquid lipstick for me.

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss, Burberry Kisses & Givenchy Rouge Inderdit

These are my favorite lipsticks, not only because of the shades but the formulation on these is top notch. I have to still find a lipstick/gloss that compares to these in pigment, texture and application. All three of these are permanent and available at Sephora and The Bay.

I have immense respect for 'truly' moisturizing lipsticks, and, as I was slightly underwhelmed by the formula of Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick, I decided to go for the satin formula this time. The shade that I picked, is a gorgeous rosy berry shade that looks perfect for my warm, yellow skin tone. I am also quite amazed at how this shade can be worn at any time of the day  - thanks to the sheer/buildable coverage. Ever since I got it I am using it non stop and without further ado, lets jump on to the pics and swatches and my thoughts!

OMG OMG OMG!!

This lipstick is soo prettyyy!! The packaging is truly a luxury - A metal tube with a rock stud at the bottom and a lamb leather case - its magnificent. At $38 a pop, this truly feels like the kind of luxury, I expected from Chanel lipsticks.
