MAC Pro Longwear Fluidline Gel Eyeliner in Lowlights Review & Swatches

MAC Pro Longwear Fluidline Gel Eyeliner in Lowlights is a dark brown shade that gives me a softer eye look compared to a jet black eyeliner, which is what most of us reach for on a regular basis. When I started using an eyeliner back in my early teens, I got a dark brown eyeliner by mistake and since then I am hooked. I always have a dark brown shade in my stash for everyday use and if you remember previously, I used was obsessed with Stila's Smudge Stick waterproof eyeliner in Damsel. (Click for review)

Over the years, I realized that I need something in a 'pot' verses retractable pencil, because firstly, I use it daily and was running out of eyeliner pretty quickly and secondly, its much more eco friendly to buy a pot of eyeliner that literally lasts me a year, than throwing out eyeliner packaging every few months. So, that is how I got into the pot eyeliner craze. I use Bobbi Brown eyeliner in Black and I sanitize my pots with a alcohol swab every time I clean my brushes..

BOBBI BROWN Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink Review and Swatches

One of my most used eyeliners is finally on the blog. I find it so hard to write about something I have been using for years and somehow I do not include in many of my social media posts or even in my favourites posts.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in the shade Black Ink, is a matte finish, intensely black and long lasting eyeliner, which is a favorite of many makeup artists and bloggers. Today I will share some close ups and swatches of this incredible gel eyeliner. I must add that this is the best eyeliner ever and something I use everyday and recommend to anyone who is looking for a black eyeliner.

MAC Lover Program (previously MAC Select) + MAC Birthday Gift 2019 Review and Swatch

I shared my MAC store experience in my previous post and I decided to never buy MAC products but since my sister is a huge fan, I slowly got sucked in to the MAC-mania. And now I have a few products that I use on a daily basis and love it. I also tried some of my sister's MAC lipsticks when I was visiting her, and I absolutely loved the color pay off and the longevity! Especially at the price point and with the MAC Lover discount offers, I am on to creating my own collection of MAC products. I never thought, I would dedicate blogs to a brand I don't like, but here we go!!
So, thanks to my boxing week MAC haul, I became a MAC Lover - Devoted member. It's the second tier of the MAC loyalty program, which was previously called MAC Select. Being a Devoted member, I got to choose a birthday gift during my birthday month and I added a January date so I can get the gift earlier in the year - cuz I am impatient like that! :P
The gift I received was actually much better than I had expected, considering that Sephora gives me travel size products on birthday, with MAC Lover program, I got a full size Technakohl Liner in a color of my choice and a MAC tote bag.

ESTEE LAUDER DoubleWear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner in 01 Kohl Noir - Review and Swatch

Fall is around the corner and I am slowly moving towards darker, bolder hues in makeup and accessories. There is something about a dark, black eye liner that makes it such a staple in everyone's makeup stash. I am still in love with Stila's Smudge sticks and I can't imagine switching but this Double Wear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner from Estee Lauder is a wonderful option. 

I have been using this for a month now and I am quite happy with it. The month of August was exceptionally hot this year but the DoubleWear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner held up well through the heat and sweat (I even wore it to gym). There is something weird about makeup at the gym; firstly you look great every time you catch a glimpse of yourself working out, but on the other hand it is gross to see your makeup melting off with sweat and transferring to the gym equipment/mats/floor - wherever you roll :D:D Just for the record, I never wear makeup to the gym.. I am completely bare faced at the gym. Its a waterproof formula so it sticks around if I do not use an eye makeup remover. So I leave that task for night time. More on this below:

If you love the sultry black kajal look but find it too dramatic for everyday, then here is a gorgeous, deep, dark brown shade that promises a softer, doe eyed look! It is my favorite eye liner for almost 2 years and counting and I love this shade on my big, black eyes. 

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in the shade called Damsel really does make eyes look romantic, innocent - much like a damsel.

blinc Box Discovery Collection ft. Mascara Amplified, Eyebrow Mousse, Eyeshadow Primer and Eyeliner Pencil

I have been trying out the blinc Box for the past couple of weeks and I couldn't wait to share it with you. It features four water proof, smudge proof and life proof products! They are for real. I tested them out with the spray bottle and also in the shower and the pool. The results were quite spectacular. However, I do have my favorites and not so favorite products in this box. This year there are two gifts from Sephora for Beauty Insiders - Marc Jacobs Beauty and Fresh Skincare Duo. I have a VIB status at Sephora and picked up the Marc Jacobs set yesterday. Just wanted to let you know that these sets are available in store and online and can be redeemed in your birthday month. I always skip the skincare set because I really don't know if I would like it so I always get the makeup one because its more fun. I do like the Fresh set too but I already have the soy cleanser and I can always pick up a sample of the rose mask from store, so it did not look so appealing to me. I am ecstatic to share this gel eye liner from Sephora because I never thought, its gonna be so great. I have been using this for a month now and I love it! The best $7 I ever spent! Yea baby! Threw it in my cart during the "Sale on Sale" event, just like that and it is a sweet surprise.

Since I am of an East Indian origin, I love kajal eyeliners and any East Indian girl could relate with me. I don't even remember since when have I been using kajals?..may be it was since birth (not sure though :P). There is also a tradition of making homemade kajals (with all the good ingredients) for young girls in my household. Although it has been discontinued by the "modern" mommys - the love for kajal is still quite prevalent. There are days, when the only makeup I wear is kajal on the rims of my eyes. Hope I have clearly indicated my love/obsession with kohl eye liners and kajals. Marcelle's Kajal Kohl Eyeliner in Blackest Black reminded me of the kajal I used in my home country from a herbalist. INIKA Mineral Eyeshadows and Organic Eyeliner Review and Swatches

Hey guys! 

Today I am sharing more vegan makeup with you guys and what makes it even better is that its halal, organic and made with natural and safe ingredients. I have three beautiful eyeshadows and two highly pigmented eye liners to share with you guys today. All of these are from INIKA Cosmetics.

The eyeshadows are in the shades called Peach Fetish, Gunmetal and Forest Gold. The eyeliners are in Graphite and Green Lagoon.
