Today I am sharing some of my favorite skincare products that are keeping my skin look its best in this frigid cold weather. I actually had to gather all my motivation to write this post down, as I sip my coffee and cozy up in my snuggly sweater. There is something about winter that slows me down significantly. I need to workout too, but hey those knits cover everything right?!
Anyways, so my skincare routine stays as simple as it can get and I like using products that are easily available and so affordable, that anyone can incorporate them in their skincare routine.

The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Bath Bomb and Poppy Seed Scrub Review

Sensual. Seductive. Euphoric. Indulgent.

This limited edition Smoky Poppy collection from The Body Shop, quite literally blew me away with the strong, heavy, earthy yet feminine scent that lasts all day. The poppy seeds are sourced from Ankara, Turkey. 

I tried the new bath bombs and the poppy seed scrub and I wanted to share them as a recommendation for Valentine's Day gifts. I would love to receive more of these products as gift. Hahaha. It totally is indulgent.

RED MUSK Perfume Oil by The Body Shop Review

Since, Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I wanted to share this fragrance from The Body Shop. Its been around for some time (holiday 2014?), but I discovered it recently. Its also my husband's favorite scent and quite honestly, I feel that anyone can wear it, especially if you've loved the White Musk range from The Body Shop, then this should be a pleasant surprise. It also makes a wonderful gift for your loved ones, this Valentines Day.

Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion and Tea Tree Face Mask Review

I started using The Body Shop's Tea Tree products, from the beginning of this year (I am totally living the 'New Year, New Me' cliche). One of my skincare resolutions was to go back to basics. I have had used so many different types of products on my skin in the last year, mostly targeted towards eliminating the signs of aging. However, over time, I realized that my acne flare-ups have considerably increased - mainly due to hormonal issues...sad..ehh..

So I decided to go back to the skincare products I have always believed in and honestly, the only ones I like and recommend from The Body Shop are the Tea Tree products. I love their bath and body stuff and especially their body scrubs, body butters, fragrances and hand creams, but for facial use, I only trust Tea Tree products. They have always impressed me and have always worked.

So, the products mentioned in this post are a part of my current skincare regimen. 

The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau De Toilette Review

One of the best fragrances from The Body Shop is their White Musk line. I feel they do their musks really well and since I have really liked White Musk and White Musk Libertine in the past, I was excited about White Musk Smoky Rose, which was launched last year. I have it in the lighter eau de toilette form, but I am definitely gonna go with eau de parfum after this bottle. So, what's so special about this fragrance, lets find out ..

This is my husband's favorite facewash. He has oily and acne prone skin and he totally loves this facewash... so when my skin started freaking out, I decided to use this facewash to keep things in check. Did this help me getting a clearer skin? Lets find out..

I did not articulate my new year resolutions on this blog, but I had been thinking about getting into an anti aging skincare regimen for quite some time. Its probably something I aim to establish this year because I have always cared for my skin and I would want to help myself. Ever since the birth of my second baby, I just feel like my skin doesn't quite feel as firm as it used to be. I mean I am still in my twenties! Why is this even happening to me? But child birth really does wreck havoc on skin. So, for almost a year, I have been using Nutriganics Smoothing Night Cream from The Body Shop. And I recently started using Nutriganics Foaming Face Wash, just because I thought stuff from the same ingredient line should work well together. But not all matches are made in heaven. The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash and Blackhead Exfoliating Wash - Review and Photos

Every single person that I know of, has tried this..some love it...for some its just not their thing. I have been observing people search for tea tree up on my blog, so thought about collecting all on my thoughts on the two Tea Tree products from The Body Shop, I am currently using, in this post.

Before we begin, lets make one thing clear - Skincare is all about consistency and routine. To get results, I recommend hooking on to a skincare product for at least 6 weeks! You have got to finish up the whole bottle of whatever product you use to see results. Obviously, if its breaking you out or causing any other symptoms, then you must stop using it. Other than that, please understand that miracles do not happen overnight! So try using up the whole product or up to 6 weeks and see if there are any positive changes.

Tea Tree range from The Body Shop is a best seller and I can certainly imagine why, as it works great for almost all skin types. It pretty much does what it says, if you use it consistently.

Hope you are having a great Sunday! I thought about sharing this Vitamin C Skin Boost by The Body Shop (TBS) today, because, I felt its been ages since I shared something like this on my blog. We girls, are always looking for something that is multi-functional and this Vitamin C Skin Boost is an absolutely fantastic mix of skincare and makeup. I would say its great for achieving a clear complexion while acting as a makeup primer.

After getting done with two bottles of this, I can safely say, this is one of my favorite skin care products. A lot of you may think, that tea tree stuff is meant for oily/combination skin types..at least that's what I used to think..but I was surprised at how gentle and effective this product is.
Each one of us may have come across the Tea Tree line from The Body Shop at some point in our lives. I had used the Tea Tree blackhead scrub or sthg previously, like 3 years or so, but dint like it. This time, I thought of giving this foaming cleanser a try and the results were so awesome, I had to share it with you.

The Body Shop Haul!!

I rarely do haul posts because of the mixed response I get, but its often fun to share about great bargains in town - just like I would tell my sister.
Back in Karachi, I would rarely step in to TBS because the prices would scare me off and there would  never be any deals! The only discount I received once, was 25% off on makeup and the stock they had put up, looked pretty stale. But the Canadian TBS is really a paradise. It is over priced, but they have such amazing deals going on all the time, it was hard to resist. So anyways, here is a haul post from a recent trip to The Body Shop. I got stuff worth over 100 dollars for just $56!! Isn't that amazing!
