I recently returned from my European cruise vacation and as much as I love being close to the sea, I detest the look of frizz, therefore, I decided to take the Aria Beauty Flat Iron with me and what a life saver it was! Keratinworks Haircare Review ft. PURE Shampoo, PURE Conditioner, Pure Hair Mask, Pure Liss BB Cream and Pure Crystal Serum

Cooler temperatures usually dry out my hair and skin and there is an instant need to hydrating and moisturizing formulas for my hair products and skincare. Most of the times I end up with breakouts on my face and neck because these formulations clog my pores and irritate my skin and that is the worst thing to experience when I am so close to the holiday season! So when I came across these non-toxic, formaldehyde-free, vegan, SLS free haircare products from Keratinworks, I was ecstatic!

TANGLE TEEZER Wet Detangling Brush Review

Finally some bright sun in the morning and I couldn't miss the opportunity to catch up on my morning yoga with the sun on my face! I never knew how much I can cherish the heat filtering through the windows and warming up my entire living space. Its so calming and just what I needed to overcome all the travel related anxiety that is gradually seeping in and I am praying I stay calm till I get to the airport. 

It's always weird whenever we vacation for Spring Break, because our closets are full of warm clothes and jackets and all kinds of mitts and socks and suddenly I am shopping for tank tops and flip flops!! It drives me nuts because, firstly, I can't find it in stores and secondly if it is in stock, its not in our size or the colors are not what we want. I usually don't like to hit the malls as soon as I visit a place but it seems like that is my only option. 

So anyways,  I wanted to share this Wet Detangling Brush from Tangle Teezer with you all, especially those with long hair like me, because it can be stressful to brush out wet hair.  I usually do not brush my wet hair, but over time, I learnt that if I want to avoid heat styling, my best bet is to brush my hair when wet and brush again when damp and then after a few hours. Of course, wet hair is more prone to breakage, but with this brush, things are looking quite good!

I use this on my kids hair as well, because I never use a hair dryer on them and this keeps their hair looking smooth and frizz free.

Today I am sharing some amazing hair products from Loreal Stylista available at London Drugs. They are easy to add to my hair styling routine and I am absolutely loving how they work for my hair. I have long hair that looks almost straight but I do get slight waves that I need to straighten out. Tangle Teezer Ultimate Finishing Brush and Thick and Curly Detangling Brush Review

Lets talk hair today!
I have been loving the Tangle Teezer brushes recently as they are perfect for my long hair. I regularly use the Ultimate Finishing Brush (the pink one below) on dry hair and it helps keep my hair slick and frizz free. The longer teeth gently it detangles my hair and feels amazing on scalp. This weather has made my hair very dry and I often find it hard to keep my hair looking shiny and healthy. Can't wait for this dry, cold weather to end! It has wrecked havoc on my skin and hair. Thick and Curly Detangling brush has no handle, so it fits nicely in my toiletry bag and has quickly found a permanent spot in my gym bag.

MOROCCANOIL Moroccanoil Treatment Review

Almost everyday I treat my hair to this rich conditioning oil treatment that strengthens and adds shines. I apply a few drops to clean and dry hair, from mid sections to tip, and instantly my hair is smoother, shinier and no more frizz! I have always been a fan of argan oil and the effects it can have on my skin, hair and nails but pure argan oil can feel a little heavy on hair. With Moroccanoil Treatment I can get all the benefits of argan oil and other vitamins, without making my hair greasy. It is quick absorbing and can be used on wet and dry hair. It is strongly perfumed and the scent is intense, but it doesn't last long and usually goes off with a blow dry.

GARNIER FRUCTIS Grow Strong Shampoo Conditioner and Strength Activator Serum Review

I spent the last week in Banff and surrounding areas and I can't get over how gorgeous it looked during this time of the year. It was the perfect setting for the holiday season and I thoroughly enjoyed the great outdoors. However, my hair and skin freaked out with all the wool and cashmere wrapped all over. My hair looked so limp and flattened with all the hats and the scarves broke me out on the chin area. Talk about sensitive dry skin, eh?

Luckily I had the hair serum from the new Garnier Fructis Grow Strong collection which saved me from all the hair breakage and static issues and added volume and shine to my long and somewhat dry (from the weather) hair.
