I wanted this post to be a special one, so here are my favorites and hands down the best nude lipsticks that work for most skin tones and are so perfect for the holidays. I absolutely love the bare lip look of the 1920's and since we will soon be ringing in 2020, it only makes sense to share my favorite nude lippies with you all. Below you can see from left to right: Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk, MAC Mehr, MAC Mocha, Chanel Mademoiselle and Chanel Abstrait. I also added two MAC mini lipsticks at the end of this post, which I leave in my handbag and rarely shows up in my blog pics, but I felt they are great for comparison.

CHANEL NUDE LIPSTICKS - Rouge Allure Velvet in 69 Abstrait & Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle - Review with Swatches

Chanel lipsticks are my all time favorites, because they always look great, no matter how I wear them and they last me a full day and the color range is very wearable too. They fomula is buildable and I have worn my Rouge Cocos everywhere in the world and it never melts in high heat, nor disappear in the humid weather. It always stays perfectly on me. So I wanted to try the luminous matte formula of the new Rouge Allure Velvets in the limited edition matte packaging. I actually wanted to just get the newer ones, but I couldn't resist stocking up on my favorite Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle. I have repurchased this several times and also reviewed on my blog. Check out my review here.

LES TISSAGES DE CHANEL Blush Duo Tweed Effect for 2018 in 130 TWEED EVANESCENT - Review and Swatches

Every Chanel product I use has such an amazing story behind it, whether its the secret pockets in the 2.55 handbag or the bottle of Mademoiselle parfum, there is always something that makes me connect with the story of Coco Chanel. This tweed blush is inspired by the iconic Chanel tweed fabric and it is nothing less than the luxury I wanted to experience. Its a soft textured, easy to apply blush that brings a beautiful matte radiance to complexion. Its the kind of blush I could layer on for night time, or wear lightly during the day. Tweed Evanescent is a warm medium pink shade that is pigmented enough to work for most skin tones. Review and swatches of this stunning blush is on today's blog!

CHANEL ROUGE COCO Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in 434 MADEMOISELLE Review and Swatch

This Spring nude lip colors are on trend and I find that a refreshing change from the darker/bolder colors from Fall/Winter and there are so many beautiful nude colors to choose from. I am truly, deeply madly all about this shade from Chanel. Mademoiselle has been my go to shade and it always work for me!
This gorgeous shade is from the iconic Rouge Coco line from Chanel. I don't even recall how many times I have repurchased this. Honestly, I own no other shade from the Rouge Coco line because I am always so hooked on to this one. Many of you might say, the shade is 'dupable' and I would like to agree, however, there is nothing I can find that matches this one. It looks amazing on my skintone. Its 'the one' nude shade I can't live without, even when it comes with a $45 price tag. Too expensive for a lipstick but the texture, the formula, the shade and everything else is so perfect; I do not even want to look for a dupe!

CHANEL Rouge Coco Stylo in 214 Message - Review and Swatches

My mind is literally everywhere as I write this blog. I have to finish up a couple of assignments, get back to working out and stop over thinking about my recent bout of acne. I am so upset, I can't even explain.  Just when my skin was looking good and my life seemed perfect, I got acne on both cheeks - exactly where my blush goes! Suspecting my blush to be the culprit, I sanitized it and the contour powder using rubbing alcohol (took advice from CBB member) and washed my brushes. Now I am going makeup free till all my acne clears out.

So just to cheer myself up I applied this super hydrating  and lightweight lipstick from Chanel. It's a new lip product launched this month and the shade I am talking about is a bright red-pink color called Message 214.
This shade is the brightest and most opaque shade from the line and even though I love this formula, there is no other shade I felt I could wear on my pigmented lips. There is a bright red-orange called Histoire 206, which could've be my second pick, but it seemed too bright for everyday use, so I passed.

Favorite Lips ft Burberry, Chanel and Givenchy with Swatches

Yes! They are pink!
I can't fall in love with any other lip color and literally, I have so many shades of pink lipsticks, its hard to pick up favorites but still shortlisted them down to these two and a gloss that is so pigmented - its liquid lipstick for me.
Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss, Burberry Kisses & Givenchy Rouge Inderdit
These are my favorite lipsticks, not only because of the shades but the formulation on these is top notch. I have to still find a lipstick/gloss that compares to these in pigment, texture and application. All three of these are permanent and available at Sephora and The Bay.

CHANEL Rouge Allure Gloss in 13 Affriolant Review and Swatches

You guys know that I rarely apply glosses - I just don't like the heavy feel of them. I much prefer lip lacquers because they are long lasting and they have a lot more pigment in them. When I applied this gloss the first time at Chanel counter, I was head over heels for it.
The new Rouge Allure Gloss has the same packaging as the Rouge Allure Lipstick - where you click the top to open it up. Love this packaging and what's more important is that the product inside is worth every single penny. And that means a lot, when its coming from a 'gloss averse' person like me!

CHANEL Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Color in Mademoiselle 05 - Review and Swatches

Kept ooohing and aahhing over getting myself a Chanel lipstick and finally took the plunge and got it for my birthday. And honestly, after this experience, I am so attracted to a ton of other shades in this line..guess I will be grabbing a couple of them very soon!
The shade Mademoiselle from Chanel's Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Color, is a medium pink with brown tones. It is also the perfect nude for my skin tone and that was the only reason I bought it because I knew, I'm gonna be wearing it a lot!

After countless trips to Sephora and The Bay and tons of foundation sampling, I finally decided to take the plunge and dish out over $60 for this luxurious foundation from Chanel.
