We are right in to the holidays and I am super excited to share some of the products that make this time of the year even more special. I love a little holiday sparkle on everything so my picks are a bit sparkly and oh so luxe. These products also make great holiday gifts for your loved ones or yourself. Without further ado, lets get right in to it.
DIAMONDS AND SPARKLES
For adding some shimmer and sparkle to my outfit, I always rely on diamond jewelry. It not only elevates the whole outfit, but also adds a festive vibe to the whole look. I can't imagine holidays without jewelry and of course the luxurious scent from Tiffany & Co. It's the scent of the season and it makes me feel so luxurious. That bottle looks like a diamond and it smells so opulent but still quite understated. I love this scent - it might not be as unique, since it has the same musk and patchouli at the base but those middle notes of Iris makes all the difference.
For makeup, my holiday favorites are the Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick (which you guys need!) that comes in a wide range of shades and add just the right amount of color and shine to lips. Its long wearing and hydrating (review here). The Becca Eye Lights Palette features a variety of shimmery neutrals for the eyes and even though they are quite sheer, I like how they add a little bit of soft glow around the eyes. Its the palette I reach for when I am pressed for time because they transfer pretty well on lids and give a shimmery, fresh look. This palette doubles as a face highlight, so I am totally packing this for my Banff vacation next month (full review + swatches).
HAIR THAT SHINES
Shine is everything for my long hair and for this holiday season, these are the three products that help me achieve smooth, shiny and healthy looking hair in no time. My favorite hair mask is the Joico K-PAK Lustre Lock (review here) as it nourishes, protects and adds shine to hair. I have recently started to use Morrocanoil treatment regularly and the results are very pleasing. It adds shines, removes tangles and it smoothes out the hair texture. Lastly, I love styling my hair and its so much easier with the Conair METÁ e METÁ (review here). Its a wonderful product that helps me create waves, curls or straighten my hair. I still prefer my straightener for smoothing, but this is such a great option for travel or when change my mind half way through curling! If you are unable to find Méta e Méta then you can always rely on the Curl Secret (review here).
BATH AND BODY TREATS
My favorite bath and body products are from L'occitane and every year I look forward to their holiday collections because they come in the prettiest of packaging and everything inside is of top notch quality. And they smell divine! So it was so exciting for me to get my hands on the holiday crackers and this beautiful advent calendar this year. I will be revealing everything that is in these boxes in my next post and here's the spoiler - it is amazing!!
L'occitane Holiday Crackers have three minis in each of them and it makes a lovely stocking stuffer or a holiday gift for a work colleague or even as teacher's gift. I really enjoy mini bath and body treats during the holidays as they easily fit in a cosmetic bag for travel and can be tossed in a jar for guest room.
