ESTEE LAUDER Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum Review

Hello October!

As you know, October is breast cancer awareness month and this year it is more than a Pink Ribbon - its a movement to unite the global community and honor everyone touched by this disease. It's #TimeToEndBreastCancer and Estee Lauder Companies are pledging to donate up to $100,000 for public, in-feed Instagram or Facebook post during the month of October featuring both hashtags #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #ELCdonates together, because it’s always been more than a ribbon.

So today I decided to share my favorite skincare product from Estee Lauder which is the Advanced Night Repair Serum. It comes in a luxurious glass bottle and an improved formula that has been tested on all skintypes, all ages and all ethnicities!! Isn't that amazing! The new formula promises to help skin increase its natural cell renewal and production of collagen for firmer skin.

This is the one serum that has always worked for my skin type, which is seldom sensitive, and as the days grow colder and drier, I am relying on the Estee Lauder ANR to keep my skin glowy, bouncy, youthful and completely hydrated.

More on this amazing serum in today's blog.

I began using this serum on September 15 and aimed to track my skin's progress. I will compare my skin's progress from Sept 15 to Oct 15 soon on my blog. Prior to using ANR, I was suffering from minor acne around my cheek and chin area and I attributed that to wearing masks, however, since Sept 15th I have had no new breakouts. I am only healing the ones that left a mark on my skin and since I am turning 35 this year, I feel my skin takes much longer to naturally heal than it did 5 years ago.
So I can definitely see the soothing effects of this serum on my skin already, though its only been 3 weeks. I also noticed that my complexion looks brighter and my skin has a bounce to it which it didn't have previously. My skin no longer feels constantly dry and appears smoother than before. I hope my Oct 15th photos will show that in more detail!

How to use:
I apply a dropper of the Estee Lauder ANR on my clean face and décolleté in the morning and at night. In the morning I follow with a sunscreen of SPF 50 and at night I follow with my retinol based night cream.
These days, I usually do not wear makeup, unless I have a meeting and when I do, I mix the ANR with my Double Wear Foundation (review and swatches here) and it gives me the most poreless, glowy and skin-like finish ever.

Though this serum works for me, I decided to include the ingredient list for you to identify any substances that you might be allergic to. I also noticed 'Lactobacillus' in the ingredient list which is a probiotic (I have never used on my skin before) that helps soothe skin and offers antiaging benefits. My skin is loving this serum and I have not seen irritation, redness or acne on my skin, ever since I started using this.

In the past few weeks, I have started to believe that my skin can look healthier, hydrated and youthful again. It has never felt so hydrated and radiant as it does now and my confidence in my own skin has increased significantly.  My complexion looks more even and brighter ever since I started using this. I also feel my troublesome forehead line appears less noticeable and the dryness on my skin has reduced. One dropper is enough for my entire face and décolleté. I am not sure if I can use this around the eyes, but I still do, because it feels so good on my skin. It absorbs quickly and is completely oil-free.

Overall, I am loving the new Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and I totally get why its the number 1 night serum for so many people across the globe.
You can get this from Estee Lauder counters across Canada for $95.00 for 30ml bottle and $130.00 for 50ml.
