Make Up For Ever HD Primer in Shade Yellow 6 - Review and Swatches

Yesterday, I checked myself in the mirror one last time, before stepping out of the car and I was like "Whoa!! That looks great"! My skin looked so fresh and luminous even after hours of outdoors and under direct sunlight. You know when you use a great primer, how it makes your skin look silky and smooth and poreless. With Make Up For Ever's HD Primer, my skin looked all that and also very radiant! I was just wearing my D&G Powder Foundation on top of this primer and the results looked so professional, without the effort!

SWATCHES

Summers mean a lot of sun and literally the sun sets by 10pm here! So I have to face the daylight all day long and something as powerful as this primer, guarantees that even with my "no-makeup" makeup days, I can look very well put together.
I apply this directly on skin, without a moisturizer and it gets absorbed pretty quickly. A little primer goes a long way. I always started with my T-zone and blend it out outwards to my cheeks and forehead.
Then I follow with my foundation (powder or liquid). The Shade# 6 promises to lighten dark complexions and yellow skin tones. I found it to brighten up my face and enhance my complexion but I didn't really feel that my complexion looked lighter. It definitely looks very silky, smooth and brighter.
My makeup lasts all day long and it does not feel as greasy/slippery as some of the other primers I use. Its a pretty amazing product.
Make Up For Ever HD Primer comes in six shades and can be purchased from Sephora or Make Up For Ever Boutiques for C$39 for 30ml bottle.
