Fx Cosmetics Pro Palette in 40 Shimmer Eye shadows Review and Swatches

Every time, I come across a halal makeup palette, I get so excited!! Its nice to see that cosmetic brands are catering to this niche. Halal makeup is not just vegan and cruelty free, its also free from all toxins. Today, I will share with you FX Cosmetics' Pro Palette that contains highly pigmented 40 shimmer shades. I know, its always good to have some mattes along with shimmer shadows, to create a well contoured eye look, but this palette only features shimmer shadows. Since there are 40 colors, this palette can be used to create 100s of 1000s of looks. I can't wait to share the swatches, so without further ado, lets move to the pics and the swatches.

The neutrals..

The yellows and greens and blues...

The pink, purples and corals...

The browns and the greys!

As seen from the swatches above, there is some repetition in shades, especially the browns, greys, blues and greens. They look slightly lighter or darker in the pans but when applied on lids, they look more or less the same. All shades have a frosty finish and a lot of fall out. Some shades are more dry than the rest. I feel this palette is great for a makeup artist who needs a lot of vibrant colors for endless looks.
For my personal use, I stick mostly with the neutrals and even when I deviate for the color spectrum, I mostly use dark purple, navy, emerald green, forest green, sea green and darker green shades. I feel this palette misses out on a number of these darker shades, that look amazing on most eye colors.

I like the fact that there are a lot of options in this palette but since it misses out on dark shades and matte shades, its definitely not the ultimate palette for me. Even if you like colorful eye makeup, you will have to use a matte shade for defining and contouring your eyes.

This palette retails for GBP 28 and can be purchased from FX Cosmetics' Website. You can use this link for a quick access:

Hope you found this review helpful. Keep me posted on which palettes are you using these days!
