CAUDALIE Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet Review

I fell in love with the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet while on vacation to US and since have always made sure I had a pouch full of travel size Caudalie products every time, I flew out of country. Since flying on a plane is now a distant memory, I decided to invest in full size Caudalie products which my skin already loves. I like skincare products with organic, plant based ingredients, because they usually sit well with my changing skin conditions. You know well that I suffer from dryness and often eczema on my hands and neck and though I use mild cleansing products, often it is only micellar water, I still end up with redness on my face and if I am unable to look after my skin, it quickly turns in to a big, painful pimple.
So I switched to Caudalie Vinosource regimen and removed all other skincare treatments in hopes of making my skin look and feel its best. More on this and my minimalistic routine in today's blog.

Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet by Caudalie is a gel moisturizer that quickly absorbs in skin. I literally just apply it with my finger tips and spread with my palms, it absorbs even before I get a chance to massage it. It feels like a drink my skin had been craving for long and it sure enjoys soaking it in every time I apply. This non oily, quick absorbing moisturizer is formulated with the famous Caudalie grape water that is packed with antioxidants and chamomile that soothes and calms even the most sensitive skin. Needless to say, I absolutely love this on my skin.

I had already been using the Overnight Recovery Oil by Caudalie (reviewed here) for night time and often layered a moisturizer on top but soon realized that it was too much for my skin to handle. Layering skincare was not helping me and my skin felt routinely dry. That is when I decided to purchase the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet, which I knew works nicely on my skin, based on past experience, and realized that face oils need to go LAST on skin!

So, for several weeks I had been using Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet in the morning and night and I am pleased with my skin. My simplistic routine is based off the information inside the packaging. I already use the Caudalie S.O.S. Serum for morning, which I apply after cleansing and drying my face. Then I follow with the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet and sunscreen. That's it for AM. I will review the S.O.S Serum in the next post which again is the best hydration serum available, in my opinion.

UPDATE: I have revamped my skincare for evening and have included some heavy duty anti aging serums and creams. I am hoping it will help me with skin cell turnover and help me fight fine lines on my skin.  Overnight Recovery Oil always goes on last, if needed. I will update more on my PM skincare soon.

Overall, I think Caudalie Vinosource Sorbet is a great product to add hydration back to my skin. It keeps my skin from drying and improves the look of redness and dry patches. I also felt this year that the fine lines on my face seem to appear deeper, so I am including some anti-aging products to my night time routine. I am adding new products very slowing so I can handle any negative effects, if they happen. I highly recommend Caudalie products to all skin types as they work great and do not irritate my skin at all.
