TEASE ME Passionate Berry Lip Trio - Inspired by the movie Fifty Shades of Grey - Review and Swatches

The limited edition Spring 2015 makeup collection by Make Up For Ever is inspired by the movie Fifty Shades of Grey (to be launched on Feb 13, 2015)
I will share with you the  Tease Me Lip Set from this collection, which is inspired by the beauty looks of the character, Ana.
Tease Me Lip Set comes in two variations - Innocent and Passionate. Innocent has nude colors, while Passionate has berry tones, which capture the sultry, passionate side of Ana.

Today, I will be sharing my first impressions and swatches of the Tease Me Lip Trio in Passionate

This contains 3 full size products, including a limited edition Aqua Rouge shade. It retails for $32 ($62 Value)

  1. Aqua Lip lip pencil in Matte Raspberry 10C ($19 at Sephora)
  2. Aqua Rouge lipstick in Limited Edition Shade 50, Clear ($24 at Sephora)
  3. Lab Shine lip gloss in D4 Shimmering Grenadine ($19 at Sephora)
It also contains an application guide by Victoria Down, Makeup Dept Head of Fifty Shades of Grey.

This shade looks more plum on me than berry. Its definitely a creamy formula that glides on nicely and packs a ton of color. However, I find it to be a tad drying, on my already dry lips. I also noticed that the color stayed in place during the time I wore it and left a slight tint on my lips, when removed.

The shade 10C, described as a deep berry plum, is part of the permanent range. Keep scrolling for swatches...

Aqua Lip Lip liner in 10C

This is my favorite product from this collection. Its a gorgeous bright berry shade that suits my warm skin tone very well. I absolutely love how, there is a lipstick, on one end, and a clear shine gloss, on the other. I quite like the applicators too.
And the best part is that its waterproof, so it does not transfer at all!! Even after putting the clear shine coat on top. Gosh, I love this!
Aqua Rouge Lipstick in shade 50 and Clear Gloss
The lipstick in shade #50 has a sponge tip/doe-foot applicator that really helps in defining the lips and also filling them in.  This shade is very opaque on the first stroke. Its looks like a cream finish when applied, but dries to a true matte (creamy matte maybe?) finish. Its very comfortable to wear and has a strong staying power.
It was very, very hard, to completely get this off my lips  It also leaves a beautiful red stain that looks very attractive. (I guess I still have a bit of a stain left on my lips).

This is the perfect top coat for the Aqua Rouge lipstick. Its clear and adds so much shine to the lipstick. Makes it very night time appropriate.
I just totally, love this product.

This is a permanent shade and is described as a shimmering grenadine. It is a sheer lip gloss with so much shine. In the tube, I can see a lot of shimmer in it and I am kinda averse to anything that's sheer and glittery on lips. It is just not for me. But once applied, the shimmer is not as obvious. In fact, it appears more like an even shine.
