Winter Skincare Favorites ft. Belif, Marcelle, Burt's Bees, La Roche-Posay & The Body Shop

Bonjour mes amis!
Today I am sharing some of my favorite skincare products that are keeping my skin look its best in this frigid cold weather. I actually had to gather all my motivation to write this post down, as I sip my coffee and cozy up in my snuggly sweater. There is something about winter that slows me down significantly. I need to workout too, but hey those knits cover everything right?!
Anyways, so my skincare routine stays as simple as it can get and I like using products that are easily available and so affordable, that anyone can incorporate them in their skincare routine.
More on how to keep skin looking hydrated and plump this holiday season, in today's blog!

BELIF Creamy Cleansing Foam and Hungarian Water Essence
First up is two amazing products from Belif - Creamy Cleansing Foam Moist and Hungarian Water Essence. I have used these in the past on my trip to California and I absolutely loved how gently it cleanses. The Creamy Cleansing Foam is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I only need a very small amount for my entire face and neck and it foams up wonderfully when applied on wet skin.   I follow with a toner and the Hungarian Water Essence. It tightens pores and keeps skin looking moist, radiant and hydrated. I use these products in the morning and night after removing all my makeup. I will discuss these in more detail in a full review coming up soon!
These products are available at Belif Canada. The Creamy Cleansing Foam Moist retails for $29 for 160ml and the Hungarian Water Essence retails for $51 for 75ml bottle.

MARCELLE Newage Uplift Energizing Serum
Next up is a serum that instantly plumps up skin and makes me look much refreshed! I wasn't expecting much from Marcelle because I had no idea their skincare line is so awesome! This is my first time trying an antiaging serum from Marcelle and let me tell you if you have been looking for a light, quick absorbing, anti aging serum, then look no further! It plumps up the fine lines on my skin and makes my skin appear brighter. I even noticed some of my acne marks disappearing with continued use. I use this every morning and sometimes at night as well. Its a wonderful option and just for $33.99 at London Drugs!

The moisturizer that I am loving at this time of the year is from La Roche-Posay. Its called the Toleriane Sensitive and its the silkiest, creamist moisturizer ever.  This line is designed for sensitive skin and I am very pleased with how well it hydrates skin without clogging pores or causing any sensitivities. Must try this one out. It retails for only $25 for this 40ml tube.

THE BODY SHOP Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter and Hand Cream
I got the Almond Milk & Honey butter and hand cream from the Deluxe Advent Calendar and I am hooked to this! It smells amazing and it works wonderfully on my skin. Its not excessively oily like the coconut hand cream and butter from The Body Shop, so it's something everyone can add to their routine. I use this after a bath or throughout the day as needed.

BURT'S BEES Tinted Lip Balm and Res-Q Ointment
Another highlight this season is these two products from Burt's Bees, available at London Drugs. I got the Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Hibiscus, which is a warm red-pink shade. It even works as a sheer lipstick for days when I do not want to wear makeup. I was familiar with their lip balms which, I guess, everyone already owns and loves, but the Res-Q Ointment is new to me.
Initially I had no idea what to do with it as it comes with minimal instructions, however, I quickly figured out that this is the best thing to apply on my cuticles and eczema rashes on my hands. My knuckles look much better since I started using it this week. I am surprised how effective this product is and I would highly recommend that you use it at night, because it is loaded with Lavender oil!! It puts me to sleep like nothing I have tried before!
Burt's Bees tinted lip balms retails $6.99 and the Res-Q Ointment is for $7.99 for this 15gm pot. They are both available at London Drugs and you can often get them for less during the sale season.

So that was  a quick round up of my winter skincare routine and even though a couple products are missing, which I just realized, I will keep you posted in my instagram posts!
What are your favourites for this season? Don't forget to share them with me!
