Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-In-Oil in Cherry My Cherie Review and Swatch

This is my favorite lip product these days. I loved it during the summer months for a natural looking tint on my lips and I love it even more for the winter months. You can already guess that its a tinted lip oil and what could be so special about it? Its formulated with four essential oils for deep hydration: apricot kernel oil, coriander fruit oil, jojoba seed oil, and possiflora edulis seed oil. It makes my lips feel so smooth and look so moisturized. I love the look of youthful and nourished lips and this products helps me achieve that and a little rosy tint too.
The shade I am reviewing is actually my favorite shade form this line. There are 10 shades available in this line but no. 5 Cherry My Cherie is my favorite because its the most pigmented one and is great for anyone with pigmented lips. There is a very fine shimmer in almost all that I saw, but it a very subtle shimmer, just enough for a glossy appearance.
So let's get started with pics followed by a swatch and my review.

This wand is really a piece of art and is so good . It holds the lip oil well and goes on smoothly. Its actually shaped like lips. I photographed it from all 3 angles for your viewing pleasure :)

INGREDIENTS :
Not too impressed!

SWATCH:
It looks clear when applied but quickly warms up and then it forms the most natural looking tint ever. Love it.

This is my beauty secret because I wear this all the time and no one knows! It gives me rosy lips without making it look too much. It's a great way to look put together without the fuss. I usually just lightly layer it on my lips and let it do the magic. For more glossy look, I would layer it twice. Its so easy to layer, it never gets sticky. I usually stay away from glosses because I hate the sticky feel. I only use Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss and thats about it.
In the sun, I do notice a bit of golden shimmmer but only usual days/indoors, its unnoticeable. The YSL Volupt Tint in Oil has a nice range of sheer shades but for my lips I picked Cherry my Cherie because the color is close to my lipcolor. If I had to pick another shade I would go with no. 15 Red My Lips, which has a nice pigment in it. I love oil based lip treatments and they work beautifully on lips without feeling  heavy. YSL Volupte tint in Oil may seem a bit steep at $36 for 6ml but a little goes a long way. I have been using this for 6 months and you need very little so one tube should last me long! Like a year!
If there is one lip treatment/stain I would splurge on, it will be the Volupte Tint in Oil. They are amazing. They are not as messy as I expected, because the reviews I read mentioned that the oil leaks and you have to keep it standing up, I strongly disagree. Its a vey well made packaging and nothing spills or leaks form it. The brush picks up just enough for a single coat. I never had any issues of leaking, spilling or anything. I would highly recommend you try this.

Get it from Sephora for C$36
