I received this lipstick at the RBR Bloggers Meetup and it has quickly become my go to lip color. Described as a little black dress of lipsticks, this cherry red lipstick is very pretty and feminine. I always shy away from bold red lipsticks because the intense color can look too over the top on me. That's how I feel sometimes, especially during the day time. This shade however, is a great alternative to a intense bold red. This slightly sheer, lustrous and looks amazing on my skin tone.

MY EXPERIENCE
All high end lipsticks have one thing in common - they are amazing!!! From texture, color pay off to longevity, this lipstick scores a ten on ten! Although, Word of Mouth is described as a cool cherry syrup shade, you can see from the swatches above that it works really well for my warm complexion. Its not a regular red shade, as you can see above. It has a hint of pink in it. On me it appears more like a hibiscus red than a cherry red. Nonetheless, its not as attention grabbing as a traditional red lipstick but has the same feminity and prettiness of a red lipstick. If you shy away from red but wish to add one in your collection, than this shade can be a great starting point.
It has a lustre finish and feels so hydrating and moisturizing - I never feel uncomfortable wearing it. It lasts me over 4 hours without fading. It has a weird waxy smell, but nothing that I can't deal with. Moreover, the lid of the tube feels too tight and I seldom give up in trying to open it :( Wish RBR would improve the packaging.
