Today is officially the first day of Spring and guess what?! Its snowing like crazy!!! Its windy too! :| Anyways, even if its all white outside, doesn't mean I can't have a bit of spring colors in my makeup or my outfits. One of the trends, that I see all over the place for Spring time, is lip lacquers. I have previously shared my experience with Rimmel lip lacquer (last year, I guess :O) but this year there are so many brands doing lip lacquers, from drugstore to high end - its everywhere!

Since, lip lacquers have the shine of a lip gloss and the intense color pay off of a lipstick, with a non sticky feel, I am already a huge fan of them. Gosh has launched lip lacquers this spring and I am not as excited about them as I usually am about lip products. They seem to be lesser opaque and last me only 2 hours or less. They feel fantastic, in the sense that they are light weight, non greasy and non sticky but it left me asking for more color.
Hot Lips is a warm sheer red shade. It looks quite intense, like a mid tone red lipstick but since its sheer, my lips would show through, which I do not like. It doesn't settle in the fine lines, and gives a smooth, gel like finish - the kind we see in commercials.
Lovely Lips is a creamy finish, nude pink shade. Its warm enough to work for my skin tone. Looks pretty good to me in terms of opacity but it only lasts me an hour and then it starts to fade.
Overall, I feel the formula is good but I did not like them because they are not long wearing like other lip lacquers I have tried before.
