FRESH Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream Review and Swatch

At my last facial, the aesthetician told me that those fine lines in my under eye area are expression lines, which means that I laugh a lot. I sure do, but for some time I have been obsessed with the fine lines in my under eye area and was looking for something that would give me the necessary hydration. So, I sampled a lot of eye creams and settled for this one from Fresh. Despite the weird rosy smell, that most Fresh products have, I was sold by the idea of a gel eye cream that gives 30 hours of hydration. How did it treat my under eye area? Let's find out...

Ingredients
This eye cream is only half an ounce and retails for $50 at Sephora. It's so tiny to hold, yet there is so much information on the packaging and some big claims. The reason I got it was to keep my under eye area hydrated and to soothe any dryness. I have been using this regularly and I feel, a lot of those claims are just claims. It did not 'illuminate and refresh tired eyes', I used it every day and night for 2 weeks and I so badly wanted it to make my eyes look better. It felt light weight but looked oily. My eyes looked puffy in the morning even with this eye cream on all night.
I use a small amount and dab it on my under eye with my ring finger and it did not do anything. I honestly feel that when I use a beauty oil all over my face, it does a better job than this cream. Another let down was how it gets rubbery and flaky when I'd put my concealer on. That is the reason I want hydration on my undereye, because I do not want concealer to be drying out and setting into fine lines.
Overall, this eye cream did not work. The gel formula seems like it should work but if you take a look at the first few ingredients it mostly water, silicones and glycerin. I wished the concentration of hyaluronic acid and other treatment ingredients was high enough to produce results.

Have you tried this? Recommend me some eye creams!
