MAKE UP FOR EVER Mist & Fix Review

Finally, a setting spray on my blog!
I never liked any setting sprays, because I strongly dislike spraying anything on my face after doing my makeup. Moreover, they make my skin feel sticky, do not dry quickly and leave a dewy finish. However, recently, my skin was so dry, I began spraying my Caudalie Beauty Elixir on my T-zone just to keep my skin hydrated but that would also break down my foundation from those areas.
Ta da!
Here comes a setting spray by none other than a beauty brand I trust and adore - +MAKE UP FOR EVER OFFICIAL

Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix - How To Use
The best thing about Mist & Fix is that is really does live up to its claims! It moisturizes skin and keeps makeup looking fresh and vibrant. I did not find it to leave my skin feeling sticky or heavy, later on. Everything looks fresh and maintenance free, even after several hours. The longest, I have been is 8 hours. I usually do not wear makeup for a full day.

I just spray this after doing my makeup and there is a right way to apply this, otherwise, you will look like a wet mess! Hold the bottle 40cm away from your face and then spritz it all over, while keeping your eyes shut.

I just spray it from as far as my arm would go, and then bring my face forward or backwards, to adjust how much product I want on my face. The nozzle is a BIG let down. It sprays way too much product, that it took me some time, to really figure out, how it will work for me.

If your hand is too close to your face, you will likely get very wet and then it takes a few minutes to dry out completely. However, if you spray form a distance and bring your face forward to soak it in, it does the job and dries much quicker.
This alcohol free setting spray is formulated with nasturtium flower extract that helps nourish skin. Overall, I really like this product, only wish the nozzle would spray finer mist because, right now, its more like a shower.

You can purchase this from Make Up For Ever Boutiques, Sephora and Sephora.ca for $34 for this 4.22oz bottle. Its also available in a travel size bottle for only $14/30ml.
