Just in time for #ManiMonday, are these beautiful, longwearing polishes from Prim+Proper. This Canadian brand, exclusive to London Drugs, is  so impressive in terms of wear time. There is literally no chipping and it lasts a full week. And I love that packaging!! Its looks very high end at an affordable price. More on these, on today's blog! 

I tried the #CANADA150 Manicure..

I am not good at nail art and I try to never do it myself BUT since its Canada's 150th birthday, I wanted to try out the maple leaf vinyl stencils sent to me for free by Nail Polish Canada. I think I did a pretty terrible job but well. The base coat is OPI's Berlin There Done That and the maple leaves are Burberry Oxblood.

This hot weather, dryness and fasting are really taking their toll on me. Somedays I feel like I haven't accomplished as much as I could have. I am such a morning person, its hard for me to stay up till 10pm, let alone eat iftaar! The lack of sleep has started to show on my face but the worst is dryness! My hands are so dry, it is unreal. I take baths to exfoliate as much as I could and hope things will return to normal once the fasting period is over. 

Anyways, so I went for a little Eid shopping on the weekend and picked up this shade from Burberry. I really liked the Military Red from Burberry Nail Polishes and thought I could try something a bit deeper. Surprisingly, I do not own any nail polish that is this shade. OPI's Casino Royal is close but Burberry Oxblood is more red than brown making it more wearable at all times of the year. 

My Eid outfit is quite bright and has hints of this oxblood color in embroidery, so I felt that this shade will be nice. 

Its a gorgeous shade that can be built up to a really dark oxblood/burgundy shade. In the swatches I am wearing 2 coats. Keep reading for more..

Happy New Year you all!

I just wanted to take some time and say hello to everyone of you. Its been a heck of a year for me and ever since 2016 started I am just running around, doing weird stuff, eating a lot and not really thinking much about my goals and what I'd want to accomplish this year. So I thought, may be, it would be nice to start planning for my blog first.
I feel that I should blog more regularly and include more drugstore, budget friendly products and also more natural beauty products, particularly those that are good for vegans as well. I have previously shared a lot of those and you can read my reviews on Vegan Beauty products here. My only issue is that natural products often come in simple packaging and sometimes they are so poorly packaged that the product looses its benefits very soon. Will talk about that in another post, and since I mentioned packaging -- I am sharing these gorgeous bottles of Michael Kors nail polishes, only for your viewing pleasure. The quality is worst than $7 nail polish at the drugstore, but those bottles.. OMG!

BURBERRY Limited Edition Holiday Nail Polish in Military Red 300 Review and Swatch

There is something magical about holiday products and I love collecting them. So, I had my eyes on Burberry beauty ever since I saw them on Sephora.ca and also on thebay.com and two weeks ago, The Bay had 10% off on beauty and that included Burberry as well!! 

I'm so excited to share this luxurious nail polish in the gold plaid from Burberry. They launched two shades in the holiday collection: one is a golden glittery shade called 'Gold Snow 449' and this is the second one in a creamy red called 'Military Red 300'.

Trind Cosmetics recently launched their nail care products in North America and I am excited to share some shades from their nail polish collection today. Wanna know whats on my nails today? Its a gorgeous liquid sand polish from OPI's Oz The Great and Powerful Collection!! This is my second liquid sand polish and I feel, the formula of this one is so much better than the one I had from OPI Mariah Carey's collection. It contains no glitter and feels a bit less 'sandy' than the previous one.

OPI Mariah Carey Collection - Spring 2013

Hey!!

I have three shades from OPI's Mariah Carey Collection to share with you today. This collections features OPI's latest innovation in texture called "Liquid Sand" which feels a bit gritty on nails (like any other glitter polish) but has an interesting depth to it with chunky hex glitter and really fine sparkles. So lets get started with the swatches:

A Butterfly Moment
This is a pretty pale pink shade with some gold tones. It seems to be a neutral shade for me. The formula is pretty good. It goes opaque in two coats and with a really smooth and polished finish. This shade can be a great option for daily wear.

OPI Skyfall Collection for Holiday 2012 - Swatches

The holiday collection by OPI is dedicated to celebrate 50 years of James Bond and is named after the latest James Bond movie called Skyfall. There are 12 shades in this collection and also 3 magnetic polishes. Today, I will be sharing the Seductive shades from the Skyfall Collection.

Glitter Gal 3D Holographics Nail Polish Review and Swatches

Today, I have two holographic nail polishes by Glitter Gal. They are from their latest collection. The two shades that I have are totally different from each other and its interesting to see how the holo effect differs between the two shades.

I am going through this "holiday glam" phase and for some reason I am loving everything that blings! So I just layered on this blue polish called Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue from OPI's Germany Collection with Julep's Oscar.
