ELIZABETH ARDEN Eight Hour Cream - All Over Miracle Oil, Skin Protectant and Lip Repair Balm Review

Today I will share with you the iconic Eight Hour Cream collection from Elizabeth Arden. This legendary skincare line dates back to the 1930s and has been a huge success because of how well it performs. They can be used from head to toe for a variety of skin issues and I have literally healed my cuticles, heels and dryness on knees and elbows with these products. My absolute favorite is the All-Over Miracle Oil which is light enough to be used on face and basically anywhere I would like to heal, protect and lock in moisture. When my skin was healing from acne, I had noticeable dry patches on my face and this helped my skin recover.
I quickly became a fan of these products and I can't wait to share more about these cult favorite skincare products from Elizabeth Arden with you.
For review and how I use each of these, keep on reading...

ELIZABETH ARDEN Eight Hour Cream - All Over Miracle Oil, Skin Protectant and Lip Repair Balm Review

ELIZABETH ARDEN Eight Hour Cream

This skin protectant can be applied head to toe to seal in moisture for healthy and hydrated skin. I love using this as a massaging cream for cuticles and hands and I have even used this on my cheeks before going for a walk and I loved how it protects and hydrates the skin. It never irritates my sensitive/dry skin. My only problem is the scent of this product. Its somewhat pungent and I often find it overbearing.
The thick balm like texture is perfect for massaging feet before going to bed and waking up to soft, hydrated feet. I can't imagine better looking feet in winters without this one. Its definitely not the sexiest scent to go to bed with, so I always wear socks to cover the scent and also to avoid any transfer to bedding. It almost feels like petroleum jelly and takes its time to absorb in skin. It creates a moisture retaining film on skin that stays on till morning.
Overtime, I settled for using it on a as need basis but if the fragrance was toned down a bit, I would love to use it daily. It works like magic on dry, chapped skin.

ALL-OVER MIRACLE OIL

This moisturizing, non greasy oil is so comfortable on skin. I have mostly used this on face and it feels luxurious! Its instantly heals dryness and I have often used this under my foundation and never ran in to any issues. It could be that my t-zone is always dry and just soaks up whatever moisturizer I apply, but its the best thing I used on my sensitive skin. It protects skin and balances its moisture and gives it the much needed luminosity.
All-Over Miracle Oil  is a blend of powerful ingredients including Tsubaki oil, grape seed oil, vitamin E and ginger root extract. All of these ingredients help soothe and heal skin and comes with a light floral - spa like scent that feels relaxing and luxurious. It did not clog my pores nor did it leave any residue on skin. It completely absorbs in skin and its a must have for my skincare regimen. Especially since the weather is so dry, I find this beauty oil to work amazingly well on my skin. If there is one thing, you must try from this iconic Eight Hour Cream collection, I would suggest this All-Over Miracle Oil

INTENSIVE LIP REPAIR BALM
I have been using this as part of my night regimen and I found this lip balm to work great. Its thick texture melts on lips and stays on for hours. I wake up to moisturized smooth lips and the scent of essential oils in this one is calming and relaxing. Its a lovely lip balm, but I do not like the jar packaging. I do not like dipping my nails in it and I wish this beautiful formulation would be available in a stick soon.

Overall, this collection is a solution to all dry skin issues and I felt that it healed a lot of redness and flakiness on different areas of my skin. The Eight Hour Cream collection from Elizabeth Arden is a must have during winters or if you generally have dry skin or live in drier climates. I absolutely loved the All-Over Miracle Oil and its a part of my daily skincare routine - it hydrates, soothes and protects my skin. These products work for my skin and I would highly recommend you to try these this winter season.
