Loreal Hair Expertise - Arginine Resist X3 Shampoo and Conditioner Review and Photos

Although I really like sulphate free, paraben free shampoos and conditioner, this one fine day, I got lured by the sleek packaging of Loreal's Hair Expertise line. They have so many variants and cover almost every hair problem I could think of. So, I decided to try it for myself and see how it works. I originally did not plan to review this but since I had nothing to do, I decided to share something from my 'extensive' hair care (*whistles*

The Arginine Resist X3 range is basically for fragile hair with tendency to fall - that's what it says on the bottle. It also promises to nourish and restructure hair from root to tip so hair is stronger. Its made with Arginine, which is a protein that helps in making hair stronger.

Enough said, now lets move on to my review!!

My Experience:

I have been using this shampoo for the past 3-4 months and honestly speaking, I did feel that I had less hair breakage. I must also include, that I have been eating a lot of protein and I also take multivitamins, so it could be a combined effect on my hair.

The shampoo and conditioner have a really nice fruity smell that stays in hair for sometime. Although, I am not  a fan of fruity smells but this one is a bit different. The shampoo does not lather that much. It lathers just as much as Organix shampoos would and that really made me look again at the ingredient list. But sadly, it does contain sulphates.

Other than that, hair feels moisturized and shiny after shampooing. The texture of my hair feels smoother, thicker and definitely much less split ends.

They look best if I blow dry them but if I don't, my hair tends to retain all the moisture and gets frizzy. That's just how my hair is and I was a bit upset to see it does not control frizz.

Ok! I get it. It doesn't say any where, its for frizzy hair! oooooo..my bad. Maybe next time, I should get something for frizz control...

Overall, I liked this duo. Arginine Resist X3 has two other products - I think a mask and a spray treatment. I may get those if I find them in store the next time because I really enjoyed the shampoo and the conditioner.

I got this for around $5 each and its readily available almost in every store.

Hope this review helps anyone who is looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. Keep me posted if you have used this and share your experience :)
