Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Purple Heart 406

Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure promises 5 steps of a manicure in one bottle: Base Coat, Strengthener, Growth Treatment, Color and Top Coat. The shade I shall be sharing today is a lovely shade called Purple Heart.

Here are the swatches and do let me know what you think about this new product

This brush makes the application so even and flawless. I love how broad and flat it is. So much better than the one by OPI but I feel someone with smaller nails may have issues using this. There was some brushing initially but then I got a hang of it and the formula of this polish is so good, it just dries to an even finish.

MY EXPERIENCE

This polish is a really exciting for me because it promises a lot and I can somewhat agree with everything. Since, I use a lot of hand sanitizer and disinfectant hand wipes throughout the day (thanks to the allergy season), my manicure usually doesn't last more than three to four days. With this I noticed it stays good for over a week on me. It does loose its gloss over time but the formula doesn't seem to chip at all. The only reason I took it off was because I wanted to wear another shade. Isn't that spectacular?

There is absolutely no need for a base coat, even with a pastel shade like this. It goes opaque in two coats, however, for taking clearer pics, I loaded up a third coat. It dries up remarkably fast. With most nail polishes a third coat usually takes very long to completely dry. But this dried really fast, I guess in a minute or two.

Purple Heart is a gorgeous shade, its great to see a pastel pop up my nails. The brush came as a huge surprise. Its flat and big! Its the biggest brush I have come across so far and it works for me.  It doesn't seem to weaken my nails and tends to hold on to the nail till it grows. There is no need for a top coat to seal it; it does the job well on its own.
So yea! This is a complete manicure in a bottle. It does save some time to avoid putting up a base coat and a top coat and with the no chip formula, it some what lives up to the nail strengthening part.

Overall, I like it and I guess anyone who wants a long lasting manicure will enjoy this too.

Hope you liked this review and please share your favorite shades from this line.
