OPI Mariah Carey Collection - Spring 2013

Hey!!

I have three shades from OPI's Mariah Carey Collection to share with you today. This collections features OPI's latest innovation in texture called "Liquid Sand" which feels a bit gritty on nails (like any other glitter polish) but has an interesting depth to it with chunky hex glitter and really fine sparkles. So lets get started with the swatches:

A Butterfly Moment
This is a pretty pale pink shade with some gold tones. It seems to be a neutral shade for me. The formula is pretty good. It goes opaque in two coats and with a really smooth and polished finish. This shade can be a great option for daily wear.

Pink Yet Lavender

Its the only glitter polish with a clear base in this collection and its so gorgeous, its suffices for its uniqueness. With pink hex glitter and a sea of silver, pink and lavender micro glitter, this one adds just enough sparkle to light up any manicure. I have been using this on almost every creme finish polish I wear and it makes every shade look incredible. Totally love it.

Can't Let Go - Liquid Sand

I totally love how just two coats of this polish can leave my nails looking uber glam! The hex glitter in this one is the same color as the base, which is, purplish blue. It dries to a matte finish with gazillion sparkles. The texture initially felt gritty but I guess I will get used to it. It definitely looks more gorgeous in real than the pictures below.
This is a great shade for a night out. I absolutely love the glitter infused matte finish. Totally worth owning one.

Mariah Carey by OPI nail lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application. This promotion will be available beginning January 2013 at Professional Salons and Spas for $10.95 each
