Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil - Review

I shared my new hair care products some time back (actually over two months back ;P). I had been using all the products from the Organix Macadamia Oil and I feel I am totally prepared to give my opinion on this. Since I have long and thick South Asian hair, they are prone to frizz and require extra hydration to look healthy to the tips. I had been using quite a few products from the drug store to combat these problems but I finally decided to go for something more natural that would replenish my hair with moisture. So again, I chose Organix because its sulphate free, paraben free and pH balanced so I know my hair will be taken care of.
Anyways, here's what I think about the Organix Macadamia Oil products.
Organix Macadamia Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Intensive Moisture Mask and Dry Styling Oil

Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

I usually shampoo my hair every single day, which is not the most recommended thing but lately I started working out and the chores were making me crazy, so I found myself in the shower more than usual. That means I have used these two guys below, every day and I started noticing a difference to my hair after over a week of usage. Initially, I felt like, the shampoo and conditioner are too mild for me because nothing dramatic happened. But as I continued using, I could feel my hair looking shinier and healthier. Even my hair breakage reduced considerably with much less split ends. That surely is a sign that my hair is well hydrated. So after about six weeks of usage, I feel my hair looks and feels a lot better and this, truly is, a hydrating  shampoo and conditioner.

Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil - Intensive Moisture Mask

This mask has the same sweet smell as the other products in this line. It promises intense hydration for dry hair and contains bamboo extract to mend split ends. I find this hair mask to be pretty average. It has not really blown me off, like the Brazilian Nut Keratin Therapy Mask by Organix, because, I feel it treats my hair the same way as the conditioner. Yes, it is hydrating but nothing over the top... I mean I don't get super glossy, silky hair after using it. I usually do expect much dramatic results with a hair mask. I use this twice a week.

Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil - Dry Styling Oil
Okay, this is really the show stopper here! I am a hair serum and hair oil kinda person so liking this is no surprise. But this really works! I mean sometimes, I just shampoo my hair, with no conditioner and apply this all over the lengths and tips of my hair before blow drying and OMG! I have super model hair!!! LOL
It makes hair appear so shiny, silky and healthy, its incredible! I was so surprised that something would work so well on me. There would be no frizz, even after hours of styling. It also protects against heat damage.
This has a stronger fragrance compared to the other products above, but it does not stay around for                   long. Since this is a styling oil and not a hair serum, it can make hair appear oily if applied generously, especially to dry hair, so use this sparingly and massage well on the tips of hair. I usually apply this to damp hair and it works best for me. I would highly recommend this one to my friends to try out.

Overall, I liked all the products in the Macadamia Oil line by Organix. If your hair is feeling dry and lifeless due to the fall/winter season or any other reason, I strongly feel this can help.  Moreover, if you have thick, long, frizzy hair, like me, you may want to try something like this which is free from harsh chemicals and really does help in keep ur hair and scalp hydrated.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what hair products you use to tame dry or frizzy hair?
