Annabelle Limited Edition - Tic Tac Trio Eyeshadow Palette and Smudge Paint Review and Swatches

This October, Annabelle launched its Limited Edition Fall/Winter eye makeup products - Tic-Tac-Trio Eyeshadow Palette in Fabulous4 and the very popular, Annabelle Smudge Paint in Glitzy Black. These products look so amazing to me, I can't wait to share these with you! Lets have a look at the swatches and what I think about these!

ANNABELLE TIC-TAC-TRIO PALETTE IN FABULOUS4

I personally love the color selection of this palette. It has some great neutrals and then we have purples and blues which add that pop of color to my eyes. I love the browns in this palette. They look amazing on their own and can be paired with any of the other shades to create a defined look.
All the eyeshadows have the same texture. They are super smooth, almost buttery and so easy to work with. I found them to be nicely pigmented and they do show up well on lids, even without a primer. However, I highly encourage using a primer under any powder eyeshadows. You can see from the swatches below that I heavily swatched them on the arm to photograph so that the shades show up properly in pics. But in reality they do show up the same way as in the pics.
All the shades have a shimmery frosty finish, but once applied on lids, they don't look over the top shiny. They come out more like a satin shine, like you expect from a matte eyeshadow over a shimmery eyeshadow base. It looks really beautiful and very wearable.

I also like the fact, that each of the trios have a light shade, a medium shade and a dark shade, so I can actually create a look with this palette only without reaching for anything else. I only wish it came with a mirror so it could be more travel friendly.

This palette retails for $14.95 which is great value, considering that I get 12 high quality eyeshadows packed together in a easy to carry palette.

ANNABELLE SMUDGE PAINT IN GLITZY BLACK

Annabelle's Smudge Paint is loved by everyone and I am so pleased to see a limited edition metallic shade called Glitzy Black. This shade is making its one time appearance this October so make sure you grab it before its gone.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this smudge paint was that the packaging is reminiscent of some drug store cream gel liners and with Annabelle I really expect high quality, so I was excited to see how this is different. I am so pleased to share that the quality, the texture and color pay off is truly amazing and that is what sets it apart.

Annabelle Smudge Paint can be used as an eyeshadow/base and also as an eye liner. I absolutely love how effortlessly it smudges and is the best thing for smoky eyes. I used this extensively for the look I posted on Facebook yesterday. You can view it here.  I even used it for my waterline and also tightlined my eyes using this, with no problems at all, but I won't recommend this, because I do not know if its safe for water line.

Overall, I really like this long wear Smudge Paint. It does not flake or fade even after 8 hours of wear. It retails for $10.95.

You may be able to ascertain that it looks the same way after drying, whether you apply it heavily or with a light hand. The glitter in this shade gives a nice shine to the application, similar to liquid liners, but definitely not sparkly.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what you think about these limited edition products by Annabelle.

Thanks for reading :)
